Book Bag

This was the first bag custom request made this year. The book bag!

 All the measurements are custom made to fit an A4 size book or file.

 First started it out choosing her fabric and matching interior for the bag.

  No zipper closure for easy book and file access and a little close up on the top stitched sewing.

1 small pocket for cellphone or keys.

Pretty princess pencil box

Made a custom pencil box with embroidery name on it. It was a birthday present from an aunt to her niece for her birthday present.

The one below was a little bit bigger. So I decided to make another one so that she can use it for putting her stationery to bring it to school. She loves it!

Lotsa pockets diaper bag

It has been a while since I last made a diaper bag. This one is custom made for my ex-schoolmate. She chose the fabric theme ballerina in brown/khaki.

It has 2 large side pockets

5 pockets interior (2 sides + 2 small pockets + 1 large pocket)

2 front pockets on both side of the bag and zipper closure

Here's another diaper bag made from green polkadots fabric

2 side pockets and 4 exterior pockets on the front of the bag

This one has 6 pockets for the interior. Zipper closure.

The measurements for the finished diaper bag :-

14 1/2" across the top opening when folded on the sides

19" wide across the top opening when un-folded

14" wide across the botton base

11" from top to bottom in the middle

6" from front to back (gusset)

Straps long enough to carry on the shoulders

All measurements are approximate

Craft Swap Bag for my partner

Here's what I made for my Craft Swap partner recently and it is completely Polkadots.

It's quite a large size 'tote bag' or diaper bag that she can use for her outing.

I made zipper closure to it to secure stuff from falling out.

There's also pockets on both side of the interior of the bag. 3 slots and 2 additional small slots in front.

That's the 2 additional slots I mentioned earlier.

I doubled stitched the handles and used white thread just to make it stand out :)

Craft Swap - Tote Bag

Here's what I got from my craft swap partner yesterday. She made me a very cute bag :)

Lovely fabric and it can sit on its own but yet soft when it's touched.

I'm currently using it since it has been quite a while since I last use any handmade bags.

There's also a very cute charm on the zipper pull inside the bag.

That's basically my stuff when I go out. My handmade wallet , car key, my house keys + access card which attached to a fabric handmade key fob , and also my cellphone (which was not in the picture as I was using it's camera). The slot where I put my house keys fits just nicely for my galaxy s as well.

I have yet to make any handles like this for my bags but I'm looking forward to it. Beautiful and I love it!

I also received some fabrics as gift. I plan to make something for her out of it in return to say Thanks!

Cosmo bag

This is the most gigantic bag I have ever sewn in my whole life. I didn't resized the original pattern.

The fabric goes well with the bag. Large print for large bag :)

I didn't make any pockets inside and I might do that on my next cosmo bag. I'm starting to love big bags , yeay!

It is one of the most challenging bag I have ever made ! A custom made bag from my customer's own fabric which I absolutely love ! Beautiful isn't it :)

Here's another altered version of the famous buttercup bag.

It comes with 2 straps :- 1 shorter strap handles and 1 long adjustable strap. The long adjustable strap is detachable if you decide not to use it as a sling bag :)

As for the interior :- 2 slip pockets and 1 zipper pocket.

8" across from left to right,

 7" from top to bottom right in the middle,

 approx 20" strap length (short) and 45" for long adjustable strap.

im so in love with this set of wallet and its matching bag! the fabric is so 'english' and sweet.

i was screaming inside saying ' i want to keep this ! i want to keep this!'

its just so hard to send it to its owner ...

what kinda emo am i into today? *sigh*

teacher's day bag - sara lynn bag

Here are some of the bags I made for Teacher's Day gift requested by one of the teacher's in my daughter's school. There were total 9 bags all together and the request came in 2 days before their actual event. I was kinda reluctant to accept it at first *not knowing if I could actually get it done within 48 hours*, but I accepted it anyway and trusting my inner voice saying 'you can do it' :)

So the teachers wrote down their favorite color while I chose the fabrics *my favorite part*

The most challenging part, getting it done fast ! I'm so used to do my work at my own sweet pace :)

Fast + flawless = feels like not breathing for a few minutes hahaha

By the end of the day , I was glad I made it just in time and everybody was happy with their bags! Happy Teacher's Day :)
