wristlet/clutch - with matching pouch

its a little bit different this time around. i made a pouch which has 2 zippered compartments. now you can have your money on one side and your cellphone on the other side. pretty more organized yeah! the size of this pouch is 7" zip opening, 1" deep from front to back and 5" tall in the middle.

and i made a matching wristlet/clutch as well. very sweet :)

elly style tote bag

the elly style tote bags measurements are 16" wide across the top opening, 4" deep from front to back, 12" tall at the center and the straps have a 12" drop. it has one large roomy compartment and one zippered compartment for easy reach items.

lily sling bag

 its the lily sling bag. measurements are 8" tall, 5" top from seam to seam, 1.5" deep from front to back. there's one inner pocket for easy search items such as keys or wallet. this time around it comes with adjustable straps so that it will fit with perfect length. its a nice bag for short trips and yet its roomy enough for all your essential needs.

tutorial : fabric bows

this is the tutorial for making fabric bows. first you will need to cut 6 fabrics of 3 different fabric design and the measurements are :

fabric 1 - 7.5" x  8.5" (cut 2 pieces)

fabric 2 - 8.5" x 9.5" (cut 2 pieces)

fabric 3 - 9.5" x 10.5" (cut 2 pieces)

(you can either use ribbon in the middle or cut 2 pieces of small pieces of fabric size 2" x 5")

sew the middle pieces together, right sides facing and turn it inside out. sew all around the first , second and third fabric right sides facing and leaving a few inches wide open at the end for turning.

snip the corners to make turning easier and nicer. turn it out and use a closed scissors or pen to push the remaining fabric out. do this on all 3 fabric pieces. then sew slip stitch to close the opening. press with an iron to smooth out creases.

now place fabric 1 on top of fabric 2 and fabric 3 being at the bottom. fold all 3 fabrics into half and start folding the fabric concertina fold and hold it with a pin.

once you've done that, fold the middle fabric piece into half and fold again the sides to the middle creases and place it in the middle of the bow. stitch it in place. you can attach pins if you like.

now its ready to be used as an embellishment for your handmade stuff. happy sewing :)

patchwork diaper bag

this diaper bag is made from patchwork fabric design. very cute and sweet. come with 2 side pockets, 2 large pockets inside and 1 large roomy compartment for all your essential needs. the measurements are 17" top opening from seam to seam, 12.5" tall and 5.5" deep from front to back.

kawaii purses and bows

these lovely and sweet small purses and bows with pins were for Tender Blush as she will be joining the Chic Pop: Street Market 4 on 29th May at Sunway Giza.

tutorial : tri-fold wallet

  

this is the tutorial for a tri-fold wallet. it has one large compartment for money, 2 card slots and 2 more compartment to put in more cards or receipt, and one zipperd coin compartment. its cute as it is just a small wallet as you can slip it in your pocket whenever you gotta go for short errands.

you will need to cut :

A - 2 pieces of fabric 10.5" x 5.5" + 1 piece of interfacing

B - 2 pieces of fabric 10.5" x 4.5" + 2 pieces of interfacing

C - 2 pieces of fabric 7" x 4" + 1 piece of interfacing + 4" zipper

D - 1 piece of fabric 8.5" x 4 " + interfacing

1 piece of fabric 7.5" x 4" + interfacing

E - 1 piece of fabric 7" x 5" + interfacing

First you have to fold pieces D and E into half and sew it all around to make like a pocket. leave one end open and turn it inside out. top stitched the top to finish it.

 

next , to make the coin zippered pocket, draw a rectangle about the width size of your zipper on 1 piece C. (draw the rectangle for the zipper somewhere in the middle of the fabric). place the fabrics right sides together and pin in place. sew all around the rectangle. next cut the middle drawn line that you've made earlier and flip the whole fabric inside like in the picture below. then you fold the fabric into half (thats why you have to draw the line in the middle earlier).

fit in your zipper while adjusting it a little and stitch all around it at the top.

                                

 

next you will have to attach the pieces D to fabric piece B right in the middle  for the card slots. place the longer one first and stitch on top at the sides while checking if the card fits. then place the second D piece below the first one and stitch again at the sides, leaving bottom open. next attach piece E on the right side of piece B and zippered coin compartment on the left.

 

take the other piece B and place it right sides together and stitched at the top. you'll get something like in the picture below when you open it. then fold the fabric under and baste the bottom part of the wallet to make it stay in place.

  

 

next place piece A(with interfacing) under and baste again the bottom part of the wallet. and finally place the last piece of fabric A (without interfacing) right sides together and stitch it all around the wallet leaving the top open a few inches ( big enough to flip it inside out). snip the corners and cut off excess fabric at the sides to make it less bulky. turn it out slowly and press.
